Goodnight lover

Does your partner think about you every night before he/she goes to bed ? :)

If they have this pillow,they definitely do! :)

One of my clients wanted to gift a little something to her partner and thought of a pillow cover !
The concept behind the art :
Basically, instead of saying  goodnight, they say "See you there" - in the dream world. (Cute,isn't it ?) Thats why,the open door with "there" in it.

The back of the pillow has two giraffes (because she loves giraffes) with a red line ( I stitched that bit,yay me!) connecting each other with "asa nisi masa" written on it. ( Thats something they share from the movie 8 1/2! )

I chose to use Prussian Blue to make it look more like a traditional English House Door,more romantic. :)

Wasn't it cute ? You can make something cute for your partner or best friend ! Its nice to make people smile before going to bed. :)

Sunday Sisters

Over 1,000 hits! Yaay! Thank you all for loving me so much! :)
On Sunday (yesterday), my sister and I were having a very sister-ly day & spending some QT together !
We decided to go shopping (:D) & clicked a few photos before leaving! :)
Sundays + the sister = colourful !

Summer girl*

Summer is here!
Many of us love the bright sunny sky,the chirpy birds,the windy breeze!

Its about 33 C here & its also very humid but nothing can stop us dressing well and looking great,right ?

On this pretty summer day, I had to use the Mumbai local trains to reach my destination : an art exhibition ! :D (not close to my house). Keeping the mode of transport and destination in mind,

I wanted to look colorful,summery,girly & of course be comfortable.

Belt - Bangkok

You can wear the shirt with the belt,like I have worn in the above pictures.

This enhances your body & also makes your appearance very stylish.

But I wanted to feel breezy and decided to take off the belt,which also looked great. :)

I love how detailed the flowers on the shoes are! They make me feel very summery :)

If you ever see a girl with this bag, take a second look cause it could be me. Its my favorite & I carry it around everywhere! :D The heart on the bag is the best ! <3

And,this is the sketch I made. :)

In the previous fashion post, I used a thin pen for outlining the body, but here I used a brush instead,thus the strokes. :)

The Local People

When it comes to music, I can listen to any genre.

But,I'v got my feet tapping to The Local People - Blues Band from Delhi. They are a bunch of fun guys,playing insanely happy music. :)
I was asked to do a sketch for the band & it was fun doing it cause they all have distinctive features!

Using the above, I created caricatures of the band memebers.
It wasn't easy since I'm not an illustrator (yet) & I just got done with my first year at Art College.

I tried & this is what I created ! :)

Quick pick!

Hi lovelies! :)
Since, my summer vacations have begun, I'm a bit more free (eeeeep!) so i'v  been spending my time doing a lot of fun things! The best thing that i discovered was.. After a rough work out, I didn't feel hungry! ( I don't know if thats a good thing or a bad thing?) I hope that stays forever!
Besides all that, I'v got a lot of orders to make crazy creative things for people which I shall post no sooner than I make everything.

So, a few days back, I was watching Project Runway,
which inspired me to make sketches of clothes. Sadly,I'm not a fashion student but I managed to sketch my outfit I purchased
a while ago for a quick photo session!
The best place in Mumbai (India) to buy the cheapest clothes with the lowest budget is Colaba Causeway!
So thats where I went and managed to buy my entire outfit in Rs.1050!
I put on my blazer to complete the look! :)
Floral dress ( Rs.300), Pearl Chain (Rs.150), Boyfriend Blazer - Zara, Black chain bag (Rs.500), White flat shoes (Rs.100)

The bows on my shoes are my Great Grandpas neck bows. I cleverly stuck them on the White flat shoes to make them look prettier !
And, thats the sketch I made! :)

Happy Birthday Kunj! (Also known as Coco :) ). So it was Kunj's birthday & we ( my other girlfriends) decided we'd make this the best birthday for her since she was turning 19 !
We shopped and shopped and shopped till we dropped for shoes,cosmetics etc.
But,isnt that what everybody does ?
The benefit of 6 artistic girls coming together results in really pretty looking happy gifts! :)
And so, we thought of making a wall hanging that she could put up in her room.. This is what we made. We used pretty beads that could hold the hangings (all the things she loves). The cube in the middle has pictures of 6 of us with her :)

We couldn't get enough and kept making more & more..


Using Emcil (a type of clay that hardens after forming a shape within 90 minutes) to create a cupcake,which didn't turn out to look like one but none the less,it looks pretty! :) Attached it at the back of a pencil ! :)

Kunj has the most beautiful collection of neck chains & so,we painted a wooden box to make it look like a jewelry box!
The one thing that she would see every night before sleeping would be her pillow & so we tried stitching on a pillow cover. We aren't so good with stitching but it was worth a try! I found the pretty textured pieces of cloth and used them to cut it into shapes. KSHAPE are the initials of our names. K - Kunj :)
To add it to her large collection, we made a neck chain ! A beautiful looking blooming green flower with a lemon yellow bow looked perfect ! :)

I made a card by myself for her which is sadly not clicked well, the right hand side bit is cropped ( :( ) but you can view the rest of it ! :)

P.s : I KNOW, the spelling of Cool "aid" is wrong,but thats an inside joke ;)

I used my precious neon paints for this card :)

Shruti,who is a wonderful cook,baked her a cake ( It tasted so so so so soooo good!) & we decorated it with chocolates :)



We arranged a treasure hunt near her house to give away the gifts! It was her best 19th birthday ever! :) Happy Birthday bestie!
