Vijay Balhara

I stumbled upon VJB's creation and I can totally relate to his style.
The mix of European & Indian Vintage style with a tinge of innocence is what he pulled together at the LFW Winter / Festive '11.

Use of flowly materials in the form of dresses to long skirts to dhoti-ish pants along with beautiful (and this is the best part I loved) colours - Hot pink, aqua, sea green with pastels of browns, greys and greens. Fabulous!
I'm totally amazed with the cute hair bands - pastries, cupcakes and the finale cake, slurp!

Gold collar, cute bow footwear.

Pastel shade of Mango, creams, puff sleeves, Indian heritage print, cupcake hairband - whats not to love ?
Love the pastels!

Gold shimmer shrug with the wedding cake - love.
(Pictures are taken from the website mentioned on each picture)
Whats happening with me otherwise ?
Drained in the midst (almost) of exams, events, assignments and a lot more, I finally got some time on my hands for myself ! I'm heading for a haircut on Monday & I need you to help me choose a style! Vote for a look here
Apologies for the lack of outfit posts [ :( ] but I can't wait to do some now! I've bought myself a lot of clothing/accessories which I'd love to show you sometime soon. :)

On a personal note,
Have you felt powerful ? By powerful I don't mean I'm-superman/woman-powerful [of course]. So powerful that your aura shouts happiness ? Its such a great feeling! Your inner strength and power can make you do wonders. Its important to keep telling yourself your worth and walking with your head high up. Be satisfied and not greedy. Be helpful and not selfish. Be hopeful and not cribby. Be yourself because that is the best person you can be. :)

View this video till the end, so inspirational :)
